What is the CARB’s “Clean Truck Check” Program?
The California Air Resources Board’s Clean Truck Check Heavy Duty Inspection and Maintenance (HD I/M) program is aimed to reduce emissions from Diesel (non-gasoline) vehicles with a GVWR of more than 14,000 pounds.
Vehicle owners are required to periodically test their emissions and submit the results to the California Air Resources Board.
These new regulations apply to anyone operating busses, trucks, agriculture equipment, and motorhomes.
Testing must be completed by a CARB credentialed tester.
